Y9-10 NZHTA Resources for 2027

The plan is for these to be available at the end of January 2027. We have teams working away on these. The units are also going to be peer-reviewed prior to publication. Links to these unit plans with a range of anchor lessons, resources, and suggested approaches to the knowledge and practices will be emailed out in the first pānui next year.

PhD Research participants wanted: NCEA L1 History teachers

Kia ora koutou,

I’m Kate Parker-Corney, PhD student at Massey University, and history teacher at QEC in Palmerston North. I’m looking for registered teachers who have prepared students for HIS1.3 (AS92026) at least once since 2024 to participate in research exploring how teachers understand and interpret the assessment's literacy expectations.

Participation involves a one-hour interview (Zoom or in person near Palmerston North), with a $25 voucher offered as a small acknowledgement of your time. Interviews can take place until 25 January 2027. Participation is confidential, and the project has been assessed as low risk under Massey University's ethics process.

Interested or have questions?

Please contact Kate.Parker-Corney.1@uni.massey.ac.nz
