NZHTA Special Curriculum Pānui 2026
NZHTA Special Curriculum Pānui, 2026
Tēnā koutou katoa,
Yesterday, the Y11-13 final History New Zealand Curriculum was released. We still await the release of Te Takanga o te Wā for Te Marautanga o Aotearoa (TMoA) later this month.
Here is where you will find links to general information such as curriculum and qualification requirements and timelines for implementation.
Here is where you will find the Social Sciences page. The Y11-13 History curriculum document is in the list of files to download.
The upcoming NZHTA workshops will have a dedicated session focused on unpacking this document (57 pages). This is going to be a big change for us all. NZHTA will be here to support you with this curriculum transition over the coming years.
Ngā mihi
Nick Fitness, NZHTA Kaiārahi
